Growing Independence

Supporting our children into adulthood comes with complexity.

Are you a caregiver of a youth 12+ and into adulthood, who is experiencing emerging/growing independence, including puberty and sexuality? Managing the social pressures and the expanding minds of our loved ones can be complex.

This training is meant for caregivers of those who live with disabilities, inclusive of physical and intellectual needs, and neurodivergence. We use a neurodiversity and disability-affirming lens, LGBTTQA+ safe.

Objectives
• Exploring puberty, sexuality, independence and healthy choices
• Building autonomy and identity.
• Exploring practical resources
• Co-creating solutions, collaboration with our loved ones
• Supporting our own healing and growth.
